Installing 8kit Node

The 8kit Node is available as a community package for n8n. Here's how to install it:

Option 1: Install from n8n UI (Recommended)

1. Open your n8n instance
2. Navigate to Settings → Community Nodes
3. Search for "8kit" or use the package name: n8n-nodes-8kit
4. Click Install

Connecting to the Demo Server

Once the 8kit Node is installed, you can connect to our demo server:

1. Add the 8kit Node to your workflow
2. Configure the connection:
   • Server URL: https://demo.8kit.io
   • API Key: Go to the dashboard, navigate to the Tokens page, and generate a new API key
3. Test the connection by clicking "Test"

Demo Server Limitations

The demo server is for testing purposes only and has the following limitations:

• Data is reset every 24 hours
• No data persistence guarantees

Accessing the Admin Dashboard

The 8kit Admin Dashboard provides a visual interface to monitor and manage your data:

1. Open the dashboard: Visit https://demo.8kit.io
2. Login credentials:
   • Email: demo@8kit.io
   • Password: demo123
3. Explore the interface:
   • Uniqs: View tracked items and prevent duplicates
   • Lookups: Manage ID mappings between systems
   • Locks: Monitor active locks and coordination
   • Apps: Check application health and status
